Applicants must be admissible to Canada, which means they must not pose a risk to the safety and security of Canadians. In order to determine whether an applicant is admissible, CIC will assess their criminal history, health and financial situation.

Applicants must also have a valid passport or travel document. They must be in good health and have no serious medical conditions that could put the lives of Canadians at risk. Finally, they must have enough money to support themselves and any family members who come with them during their stay in Canada.

If you meet all of the above requirements, you may apply for a Canadian visa by filling out an application form and submitting it along with the required documents.

What are the Costs Involved?

There are a few different types of Canadian visas, and the cost of each one varies. The most common type of visa is the tourist visa, which allows you to stay in Canada for up to six months. The cost of a tourist visa is $100 CAD.

If you want to stay in Canada for longer than six months, you’ll need to apply for a different type of visa. The cost of a work visa, for example, is $155 CAD. And if you’re planning on studying in Canada, you’ll need to apply for a student visa, which costs $150 CAD.

It’s important to note that these are just the fees for the visas themselves. If you’re applying for a visa from outside of Canada, you may also have to pay a processing fee, which ranges from $75-$400 CAD depending on the type of visa and where you’re applying from.
