Being an Indian national, you may be wondering what the requirements for your visa photo are.
In order to apply for an Indian visa, you’ll need to provide a passport-sized photograph. The photograph should be taken against a light background and should show your face well. In addition, you’ll need to provide two copies of your passport-sized photo, one of which must be a photocopy. Photo Requirements
To obtain an Indian visa, you will need to provide a passport-style photograph. The visa application form asks for two images: one that is 2×2 inches in size and another that is 1 inch square. You can also submit a photo of your passport.
If you are a citizen of India, you can obtain a passport photo at a passport agency or at a photo store. If you are not a citizen of India, you will need to take your photograph with a digital camera and then upload the image onto the visa application form.
NOTE: You may need to have your photograph taken again if you change your name or travel outside of India.
Document Requirements

As of August 1, 2017, all applicants must present a valid passport with at least six months’ remaining validity. For all other visa classes, you will need to present one of the following documents:
– A valid national identity card or driver’s license

– An online application confirmation letter from an authorized immigration services provider that contains your final travel information and pictures of your front and back sides (an e-Visa cannot be issued until this letter has been received by the embassy or consulate)
