What is a Dutch Visa?
Dutch visas are required for Indian citizens if they want to visit the Netherlands for tourism or business purposes. To apply for a Dutch visa, Indian citizens must first obtain a visa application form from the Dutch embassy or consulate in their home country. They must also provide proof of citizenship and valid travel documents, including an airline ticket and passport. The Dutch embassy or consulate will then process your visa application, and you will be notified of the decision by mail. How to get a Dutch Visa?
There are a few things you need to know in order to get a Dutch visa.

Finally, you will need to provide proof of funds and/or an accommodation plan.
Requirements for a Dutch Visa
To apply for a Dutch visa, you will need to provide some basic information about yourself. This includes your full name, date of birth, passport number, and country of origin. You will also need to provide contact information for yourself and your family members who will be accompanying you on your trip.
Dutch visas are valid for one year and can be extended if all the necessary paperwork is submitted before the expiration date. The application process for a Dutch visa is relatively straightforward and most applicants will not have to go through any additional interviews or checks. However, applicants should note that Dutch visas are not valid for travel to countries in the European Union or Schengen Area.
E-Visas are now available for citizens of Indian origin who are traveling to Netherlands on business or pleasure. E-Visas are processed through theDutch Embassy in your home country and can take up to 3 weeks to be issued. Once issued, an E-Visa is valid for 90 days and must be activated before it can be used. Some common requirements for an E-Visa include a copy of your passport photo page, proof of financial stability (such as bank statements), and a letter from your employer confirming that you will be working in Netherlands during your stay.INDIAN EVISA EXPIRY DATE
Requirements for an Indian E-Visa:
To apply for an Indian E-Visa, you will need to provide the following documentation to the Dutch embassy or consulate in your country of residence:
- A valid passport with at least six months remaining on the validity date
- A visa application form (available from the Dutch embassy or consulate)
- Two recent passport photos, taken within 30 days of applying for a visa
- Proof of financial support (if required): a bank statement, payslips, etc.
- Proof of residence in the Netherlands (a utility bill, lease agreement, property deed, government document with your name and address)
- Evidence that you have been living in the Netherlands continuously for the past 180 days (a rental contract or letters from your landlord)
- If you are married to a Dutch citizen: a marriage certificate or divorce decree (if applicable)
- If you are divorced from a Dutch citizen: a final judgment decree issued by a Dutch court (if applicable)

If you are an Indian citizen and wish to travel to the Netherlands, you will need to obtain an E-Visa. The Dutch authorities have different requirements for Indian citizens depending on your nationality.
If you are a British Indian citizen, you will need a valid passport, visa application form (the electronic version of this can be downloaded from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs website), two recent passport-size photos, and return ticket. If you are travelling with a child under the age of 18 years, they will also require a copy of your child’s birth certificate.
If you are an Indian citizen travelling on a diplomatic or official mission, your visa application will be processed automatically. If not travelling as part of a diplomatic or official mission, you will need to submit an application letter from the embassy/consulate that issued your diplomatic/official passport identifying yourself and stating the purpose of your visit. You will also need to provide evidence that you have sufficient funds available to cover your stay in the Netherlands and any associated expenses (such as health care).
